Long Time No Blog!!

Hello to all, sorry I have been a bad girl and not blogged for absolutely ages. I have been so busy with keeping the children amused. We have been here, there and everywhere and not once have I herd them say I'm bored! So needless to say I have not been able to do any crafting. Well the children go back to school on Monday and I will be able to get back to normal and get into my routine and craft craft craft.

Cupcake Craft Challenge - Colour Combo

Well I said I would be back with another challenge and here we are. I also made this last night. This is for Cupcake Craft Challenge Their challenge this week is; Green Pink Brown Flowers and Animals. Well I think I have covered all the bases!!

This is the first time for this challenge blog, I have been watching for a while and thought I would have ago. The DT cards are fantastic and the entries are brilliant, now that I have looked at some it puts mine to shame, oh well you've got to be in it to win it!!

Forever Friends Challenge - Celebrate

Good Morning Ladies

It's the most lovable Bears 21st Birthday from Forever Friends and over on the Forever Friends Challenge Blog they are having a Celebration Challenge, you can design a card for any sort of celebration. You could be in with a chance to win a folder of Forever Friends Images from the DT Members.

I had a Wedding card to make for our close friends Ben & Cath who are getting married tomorrow, Rene is an Usher and has to get all dressed up (this is rare for him as the last time he was in a suit was at our wedding 2 years ago!!) He got is suit yesterday and the shirt doesn't fit - he can just about get it over his arms and there was no way he was going to get it done up! Major panic by the groom (bless him) but we will get it sorted later.

Hope you have all had a good weekend. Well another rotten day!! Where's summer or have we had all the sun for this year!!

Little Man had a great time at Beavers Camp, singing round the camp fire and playing lots of games. They were not allowed to sleep out side so they put the tents up in the Scout Hut. He said he didn't get much sleep because the other tents were noisy - so an early night for him.

Forever Friends Challenge - Pink Blue and a Flower or Two

I hope you are all having a good weekend, the weather has not been brilliant I just hope it picks up for next week at the start of the school holidays.

Well I have entered the Foreverfriends Challenge Their challenge this week is Pink Blue and a Flower or Two. The Anniversay Card

I'm back with another post, this is the Anniversary Card I made for my lovely husband. He is car mad and this is his favourite car - VW Beetle. When we first met he had a Green VW Beetle 1300. It was his baby, the only thing was it spent more time off the road than on!! He would spend hours tinkering with it and he spent an absolute fortune on it. So when I found this stamp by Little Claire Designs it was a must.

I had no intention of entering this into any challenges but it fits with a challenge and an entry for Blog Candy!!

The challenge is for Papertake Weekly Challenge Challenge 19 Sketch.

Special Day Today

Good Evening Ladies

Well it was rather a special day today as it was our Wedding Anniversary (our second), I woke up this morning to 2 wonderful bouquets of flowers and a card. My card to Rene was not ready and I told him he would have to wait until later, I think he thought I had forgotten, I hadn't but they seem to forget you have a lot more to do in a day than them!!!

I have taken some pictures of the flowers......






.... they are just so beautiful.


I did finish the card and presented it to him tonight with a lovely meal and he absolutely loved it, I will do another post on the blog as I want to enter it for a challenge as well - lol.

Well nothing changes - he's now playing on the xbox and I have been left with the washing up.

I have made another Tilda

Hello to you all,

Well it's been another bright day today. Well I hope you all had a good weekend. The boys are driving me mad with the big count down to the last day at school, 7 days left with a groan from me and big hooray from them.

Well I have done another card (don't fall over) I have been a very busy bee and I am back in the swing of it now. This is not for a challenge just for my friend at work. There are 3 of us who craft in my office so there is always a little bit of competition!!


What I have Used;

The Tags were inked in Yellow and then the sentiments from Papermania were stamped in Pink.

Daisy and Dandelion Challenge - Summertime

Good Evening Ladies, I hope you have all had a good day today.


I have been at home this week due to Grot not feeling very well, he had the sickness bug on Monday, he was due to go back to school today but then got the squirts last night so we had to keep him off school again today and he will need to be off tomorrow as the school likes them to be clear for 48 hours, he is not a happy chap as he wants to see all his friends so fingers crossed he will be able to go on Friday.

Well I have managed to do a challenge, I just hope I have entered in time!

I have used a decoupage of Squeak (Grots Choice as he wanted to help me) The paper used is Imaginisce - Fairest of them all - Magic Meadow, Funky Foam for the scallop edge, mulberry flowers and the sentiment is from Oh my Word by Craftwork Cards.

Forever Freinds Challenge - Citrus Twist

Forever Friends Challenge

What's a box......

...ooh whats inside.....

..Surprise!!!!

Hello everybody, well the weekend is here at last, it's been a long week!!

Well I have had a busy time, I have entered a few challenges, which have been fun to do and I finished this exploding box for my friend Sarah at work.

I love making these as they are so special for the person who receives them, I try to personalise where possible. My friend was absolutely over the moon with this as it's for her Dad who she doesn't see to often as he lives in Dubai. She gave me some photo's her and her Dad from when she was younger, they are hidden under the flaps that say 'my dad'. I asked her for a colour scheme and all she said was manly! So I chose Burgundy (Bazill), Green (Anna Griffin), Cream(Bazill), Patterned (Basic Grey) and Gold (Mirri Card). On each layer and side I have added different elements and materials - Balloons, Presents Shirt and Ties Pint's of Beer and Birthday sentiments. I am just gutted that my camera decided to play up and I couldn't get any more pictures.

Well I had better go, I can smell dinner!!!!

Evening All

Sorry I have not added anything to my blog for a few days, I have been rather busy creating and making for other people, I have tried taking photo's tonight but they haven't come out very well, my photos work better using daylight!!! So I will add tomorrow morning.

Hope you have all had a good week, It's been rather hectic with getting back into the routine of school runs, going to work, house work, taking the boys here there and everywhere and all the other mundane things and making sure I have time to Craft that there are not enough hours in the day!! Something is going to have to go.......

A Card for my Aunt the first of three

This is a card I have made for my Aunt Maggie, both my Mum and my other Aunt have asked me to make their cards for their sister and I also have to make one from me!! So here is the first design.

I have used Bazill Paper, Anna Griffin Paper, the wording stamps are See'Ds which have been embossed, the Rose in the middle is an embossed peel off, and the Sister lettering is from Sizzix - Bloom, all other bits were used from Stash.

Well I hope you all enjoying the fine weather, lets hope it lasts!!

Yo Ho Ahoy

On Thursday I met up with some of my crafting friends and our children and had a whole day of crafting. What a great day we had, we met at 11.30 and we didn't go home til almost 7.00. We each had to create a card for every one to make and this was my design for the adults, it was made up from Quickuts Dies.

This was my design for the children to make. The stamp used was from Kars and I used a cuttlekids die.

Great fun was had by all. 'Great food, Great friends and Great Crafting!!!!'

A card for my Friends Little Boy

This is a card I made for my friend's Little Boy, as you can guess he was five and very much in to dinosaurs. For the wording and the dinosaur I used the Woodware Stamp Collection - Monsters.

Sorry for the short message , it's late and I need some sleep, before Grot wakes me up at the crack of dawn to go out on his bike!!!

I am so Pleased

My Little Superstar

Good Evening

I would just like to share with you that Grot has learnt today to ride his bike without stabilizers on the first attempt!!!!!

He had been pestering us to take his stabilizers off for about a week, so we took the boys this afternoon to the local green, Grot was moaning that he couldn't ride his bike on the grass. Littleman was with Daddy trying to fly a kite (trying being the operative word - NO WIND)!! So I lowered the seat on Littleman's bike, kitted Grot out in all the safety protection, got him on the bike (was then expecting a long afternoon of running behind him holding him up right, and wiping away the tears every time he fell off) No, not at all, pushed him off and away he went! We could not believe what we were seeing, we are sooo proud. He couldn't wait to get home to help his Daddy get the stabilizers off! Then proceeded to ride his bike until 7pm!



Needless to say he went to bed and we haven't heard a peep out of him!

Patch Work Pals

This was made from a kit purchased from qvc. They looked so adorable on the tv and they are in the flesh. I thought they were something different by having a back to them. I have added my own little embellishments and Tag.

My First Creation Added

Hello, here is my first card on my blog.

Here are some of the items that I used, The main stamp is from Woodware Stamps - Mary and Friends, which I have water coloured. The message stamp is from Stamping Up. Paper from the Sharon Ann Collection and Pink Bazill Bling. All other items used from stash.

Little man done well in his spelling test 9/10, I am very proud, he wasn't happy that he had got one wrong(oh the end is nigh!!!), but a big hug and a packet of match attacks soon put a smile on his face. Grot on the other hand had lost his school jumper for the umpteenth time this term! If is not at the end f his nose, he can't find it (just like his father lol).

Well have a good evening and happy crafting and blogging.
